Scrolling endlessly through fashion websites for tribal inspiration I came across this Michael Kors collection from Spring 2012, I guess its not technically 'Tribal' but more African as a continent- the show notes call it 'Afriluxe'. Kors was heavily inspired by The animals this season, incorporating different fur prints into his collection and accessories.
Although I have said the collection doesnt exactly represent Tribes per se, but tribes are inspired by the land and animals around them for their costume designs right? I feel like I can also draw inspiration from the scenery around the tribes as well as the people themselves... I need to think outside the box with this project so that I am not just recreating the same old stuff.
