For the timed assessment I was given an image to study and recreate on a model, we were given 2 hours to do the look and be assessed every second of the way for professionalism etc.
This task was basically an exercise to help recreate the scenario of a backstage role, following a designer and creating their look.
Here is a copy of the original face chart, but during the assessment I had to work from an incomplete photo of the make up. But my tutor was aware of this and marked me fairly.

Equipment
- Gown
- Paddle brush
- Bobbi pins
- Hair tie
- Illamasqua satin primer
- Illamasqua rich liquid foundation
- Screen face concealer palette
- Illamasqua translucent powder
- Brushes
- Hairspray
- Supra palette
Overall my timed assessment went well, The designer had originally done the makeup on a dark skinned model with afro hair, and I was recreating on a caucasian female i panicked on how I could do the hair, the designer should have given me a face chart and more description to help me out. My hair was the only let down on the recreation, and this was marked on my assessment sheet by my tutor. I kept my area clean and organised throughout and fulfilled the brief i was given to the best of my ability
