Anne Sofie Madsen is a designer from Denmark, At Copenhagen Fashion Week S/S 2012 she opened the show with her collection. These images are beautiful, it reminds me very much so of just illustrating on magazine images as the dresses are so tight and neutral coloured they could almost be skin. The dress below on the right hand side almost resembles one of the tribal masks, I can see facial features clearly. The hair is braided, a signature within tribal inspiration, although it is very simple alongside extremely natural make up making these perfect for high fashion.
Here are some drawings of the collection, I absolutely love them and they almost show a contrast between avant garde and high fashion. The bottom right hand one is my favourite and the hair style is exactly what I had envisioned for my model.
Madsen has been voted one to watch and I ended up finding her S/S 2013 collection, the tribal referencing is still apparent and styles even seem to mimic themselves. The colour palette has not changed and the simple style of the dresses definitely runs in a bit of theme, the only difference is that she has become more experimental with hair and make up, not traditionally tribal but very keeping with the theme of the collection. She also has each model in a pair of trainers bringing them all right up to date.
